ABOUT MYCOGEN

Mycogen, a mycelium
cultivation company

We translate mycelium's natural power into the language of industry.

MISSION

Changing industrial materials
through the craft of growing

Mycogen Inc. is a company dedicated to mushroom mycelium cultivation. Building on mycelium cultivation and fermentation research from Save Earth Co., Ltd.’s Mycerra Lab, we were founded to grow cultivation itself into an independent industry.

Rather than making finished goods, we focus on supplying well-grown materials that partners in each industry can use right away.

  • A B2B materials and food-ingredient company focused on cultivation
  • Four lines: textile mats, building materials, meat and egg alternatives
  • Reproducible processes built on standard operating procedures

VALUES

How we work

01

Circularity

We return discarded resources such as spent substrate to the cultivation cycle.

02

Standardization

Every batch is recorded so the same conditions give the same result.

03

Safety

Food lines use only edible, food-grade inputs; building lines target certified test standards.

04

Partnership

We go to market together with finishing, food and construction partners.
